This is a brilliant workshop, you can't fail but be loose, creating your canvas to start with using tissue paper tin foil and reference from magazines relevant to your finished painting. Use you imagination with colours and really let yourself go. This really shouldn't be missed, its not what you expect from collage.
Materials
cheap canvas on a box as large as possible / or mount board 1/2 sheet
FW transparent acrylic inks at least two contrasting colours ie purple & orange
white opaque acrylic paint
foam small roller/ or child's foam roller
tin foil, white tissue paper, magazine, brown paper
flat brush
PVA glue old cheap brush
plastic cups disposable

Learn how to paint hens, chickens and roosters in lively vibrant colours, using water colour, FW acrylic inks and some soft pastels. We will create these birds in different mediums easily throughout the day.
Materials
All your usual water colour equipment, Water colour paints, large brush, plenty of rough paper, such as Arche or Saunders Waterford, bright FW acrylic inks (small selection) any soft pastel you have, hair spray to fix. Silver or gold Winsor & Newton guache. SAA Artist quality paints and brushes are available to purchase at workshops.
