The classes offer expert tuition with lots of individual help as needed.
There is always a demonstration to get you started. The atmosphere is
very relaxed and friendly. Most workshops are based on watercolour
and its techniques. To help create loose impressionist water colours.
Marilyn will help you overcome any fears you might have, especially
putting people into your paintings. But classes such as the hens,
roosters and chickens offer a taste of using soft pastels and acrylics
inks in a way that is truly inspiring.
Choices is an excellent class to learn many techniques using just one
reference photo. You will create 3 - 4 very different paintings.
Discovering mixed media and acrylics, whilst having fun. Animals on
the loose explores different easy backgrounds, with energetic loose
animals.
Bring all your usual equipment and plenty of stretched paper.
There will be a range of SAA watercolour paints and brushes on sale,
at the workshop.
Bring a packed lunch or if you prefer there is a local pub close by for
lunch, Tea and coffees are on hand at all times. Plus a cake or biscuit
with your first cuppa.
